We’re Making ICD-10 Easier

Even though we’ve officially made the switch to ICD-10, the work is far from over. We know these next few months may be challenging, and we are here to help.

TriZetto Provider Solutions can help make your transition as painless as possible.

  • We have compiled helpful articles, webinars and resources on our ICD-10 website so you can easily find the information you need.
  • We are gathering data from our clients’ claims and will report which claims denials and coding errors are occurring most often, so you can avoid making these mistakes.
  • Do you still need to submit claims in older formats? No problem – we are continuing to accept claims in print image, NSF, and 4010 formats, and also will process ICD-9 claims for those payers that require them.
  • Over the next few weeks, you may notice more claims denials and delays in payments as payers begin responding to ICD-10 coded claims. Our denials management tools can uncover the reasons why your denials are occurring, track them electronically and automate your appeal process, helping you collect the reimbursements you deserve.

If you are having trouble with your ICD-10 claims contact our knowledgeable Customer Service Team, available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Standard Time at PhysicianSupport@trizetto.com or call 1-800-556-2231.

Post ICD-10 FAQ Session

As a medical community, we prepared for the worst case scenarios for ICD-10 adoption. While it doesn’t appear to have ended healthcare as we know it, there were glitches in the implementation. New coding questions have come up, some of which mean conflicting definitions between CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10. This free webinar, hosted by TriZetto Provider Solutions and Jennifer Searfoss, will answer questions about ICD-10 implementation so far. Join us Nov. 19 to learn how to respond to claim rejections and denials due to ICD-10 codes.

Denials in an ICD-10 World

Medical practices hailed the CMS/AMA news that CMS would not deny services solely because they were submitted with unspecified ICD-10 codes. But, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any medical necessity denials. Medical practices need to monitor denials in the fourth quarter of 2015 and quickly adopt diagnosis codes that support medical necessity. This free webinar, hosted by TriZetto Provider Solutions® and Betsy Nicoletti, will discuss CMS policy and recommend methods for monitoring and decreasing ICD-10 related denials.
