Paul Kaiser
Paul Kaiser

President

Paul Kaiser serves as president of TriZetto Provider Solutions, a Cognizant Company. As an accomplished leader, Paul brings a forward-thinking perspective based on his extensive knowledge of revenue cycle management and a clear understanding of the issues that impact the health care industry today. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the business and has overall accountability for financial performance, sales, product management, software development and testing, marketing, client services and implementation. Paul actively promotes growth, financial strength and increased operational efficiencies for the company.

Prior to joining TriZetto Provider Solutions, Paul served as director of sales for Cerner Corporation’s managed services portfolio. He also served in a variety of sales leadership roles related to clinical application hosting and IT outsourcing across the U.S. and globally. He excels at managing and overseeing all functions of a business unit due to his past experience and leadership knowledge.

Paul earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Central Missouri. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and playing golf.

Scott Hampel
Scott Hampel

Vice President, Product Management

Scott Hampel serves as the vice president of product management at TriZetto Provider Solutions, a Cognizant Company. He is a skillful leader with 20 years of technology experience and an exceptional ability to grow health care information technology businesses. He oversees product development, strategy and management as well as industry affairs and compliance. Scott has extensive experience leading product management, strategy and business planning functions, while also building high performing teams.

Scott most recently served as vice president of payer solutions management at TriZetto, a business unit within Cognizant’s health care practice. He was responsible for the market strategy and portfolio management of TriZetto’s $300 million services business, while also providing oversight of a $7 million software business and an emerging $3 million software-as-a-service business that doubled revenues in 2015. Scott excels in leadership and management roles because he has extensive knowledge of the many functions and factors that must align to drive business performance.

Scott has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and business administration from the University of Michigan and received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver. He is a devoted family man and enjoys the outdoor lifestyle of his Colorado residence.

Allen Latham
Allen Latham

Vice President of Sales

As vice president of sales at TriZetto Provider Solutions, a Cognizant Company, Allen Latham manages the entire sales operation to promote company revenue growth and financial strength. His focus is to drive the organization’s efforts to grow its client base, broaden market-leading capabilities and connect providers with solutions that improve workflow efficiencies and increase revenue.

Prior to joining TriZetto Provider Solutions, Allen served in a variety of sales leadership roles working in revenue cycle management, consulting services, IT outsourcing and health care administration. He is a determined leader with over 28 years of health care, sales and technology experience and an exceptional ability to identify new markets and solutions. He brings a wealth of industry knowledge to his role and is a valuable asset in continuing to drive successful results and achieve company goals.

Allen has a bachelor’s degree in health science with an emphasis on health care administration from the University of Missouri. He is a devoted family man and enjoys spending time at the lake, reading and watching sports.

Kevin Lathrop
Kevin Lathrop

Senior Vice President, Business Operations

As senior vice president of business operations, Kevin Lathrop focuses on continual process improvement at TriZetto Provider Solutions, a Cognizant Company, to deliver excellent client experience. His track record in monitoring business operations with attention to effectiveness and business results are a valuable asset in continuing to grow the company and delivering successful client results in an ever-changing marketplace.

Prior to joining TriZetto Provider Solutions, Kevin served in various roles building custom analytic systems that measure customer interactions and impact on processes. He worked in operations and support organizations researching the dynamics of what drives business value and focusing on improving the customer experience.

Kevin graduated from Webster University summa cum laude with a master’s degree in international relations. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and cooking.

Maureen Thelen
Maureen Thelen

Director, Business Intelligence and Sales Operations

Maureen Thelen serves as director of business intelligence and sales operations at TriZetto Provider Solutions, a Cognizant Company. Maureen is responsible for providing leadership and development of the business intelligence and sales operations professionals, including KPI measurement, performance reporting, process improvements and sales compensation. She also serves as chief of staff to the president of TriZetto Provider Solutions.

Maureen has worked in the health care space for several years, specializing in sales analytics and operational improvements. Prior to joining TriZetto Provider Solutions, Maureen worked for a division of Emerson Electric for 18 years, in various administrative, analytic and IT roles, including sales and marketing analyst, software quality analyst, and executive assistant to the president.

Maureen earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, with a concentration in math and science education, from Thomas More College. Maureen is committed to multiple volunteer activities, including supporting St. Vincent de Paul as a data and technical resource. In her spare time, she is an avid reader and sports fan.

Phil Walsh
Phil Walsh

Vice President, Marketing

Phil Walsh serves as the vice president of marketing for TriZetto Provider Solutions, a Cognizant Company. He brings a global perspective to customer engagement with over 18 years in health care sales and marketing experience. Phil is responsible for all marketing functions and oversees lead generation, marketing communications and digital marketing.

Prior to joining TriZetto Provider Solutions, Phil served as Baxter Healthcare Corporation’s director of global market development. He oversaw a $200 million business in 34 different countries through both direct sales and distribution channels. Phil spent over a decade in hospital pharmacies across the world helping them automate their complicated IV processes and finding ways for them to improve efficiency and patient safety. He also previously worked in both health care software and pharmaceutical sales.

Phil has a Bachelor of Science in biology from Clemson University in South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration from Wingate University in North Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf, and is an avid Minnesota Vikings fan.

Dave Zurliene
Dave Zurliene

Senior Vice President, Technology Services

Dave Zurliene currently serves as senior vice president of technology services at TriZetto Provider Solutions, a Cognizant Company. Dave brings 30 years of experience developing and executing IT strategies that support business objectives with a systems and process approach. His broad strategic and operational capabilities drive success in delivery, strategic alignment and business value. He is responsible for managing all of the technology aspects of the provider business and has accountability for software development and testing, application management, systems integration and support, information security and IT management.

Prior to joining TriZetto Provider Solutions, Dave served as vice president of transitions for Cerner Corporation’s IT outsourcing services portfolio. In his 22 years at Cerner, he worked in a variety of technology leadership roles across the world and contributed a wealth of programming and systems administration knowledge. He excels with architecture, systems integration, IT industry framework assimilation and technology leadership.

Dave earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Evansville in Evansville, Ind. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, being a handyman, playing golf and watching sporting events.
