TriZetto Provider Solutions Coronavirus Update

Dear Valued TPS Customer,

I hope this note finds you and your organization well. TriZetto Provider Solutions, a Cognizant Company, is closely monitoring developments regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). We are following the guidance of health authorities and implementing procedures to ensure that our employees are healthy, our call centers are staffed and our clients are supported. You can count on us.

TPS is open and maintaining our operations. Our business continuity plans are in place, fully tested and executable. This includes a work-from-home policy and equipment and connectivity standards, in compliance with security standards, so that employees can perform their jobs from remote locations, where appropriate. These measures will help mitigate material interruptions in our delivery capabilities and assure business continuity for you. Below are a few ways we are doing this:
  • Our Microsoft Azure cloud-based platform remains fully operational and secure, and our technical teams can maintain every aspect remotely.
  • Appropriate data segmentation in our production and lower environments, as well as strict access control to production with respect to accessing PHI.
  • Multi-layer security.
  • All employees are required to use secure endpoints with appropriate endpoint protection and also required to use the TPS/Cognizant encrypted VPN or VDI to access platform resources and data.
  • Internal communications are done via secured email, video conferencing, and we will communicate with you as needed with these same tools.
Earlier this year, due to inclement weather, we successfully tested and executed on these plans.

Preventative measures are being taken by the company specific to our employees, including:
  • All non-essential travel and events are restricted.
  • Out of an abundance of caution, restricted travel to countries with widespread transmission. See the CDC for more information:
  • Enhanced cleaning at offices globally.
  • Any associate feeling ill or experiencing flu-like symptoms is being asked to stay home and seek medical consultation.
Our account teams will be working closely with you to ensure continued high-quality service as we all work to adapt to these novel and unforeseen circumstances.

As always, our customers and employees are our top priority. We are committed to being a responsible employer and member of our community, while continuing to be a partner you can count on. Thank you for trusting us with your business. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call us at 800-556-2231.
